Explain the saying” When in Rome do as the Romans do”
The phrase ‘When in Rome, Do as the Romans Do’ refers to the importance of adapting yourself to the customs of the people who are in a certain place or situation and behave like they do.
Think of one or two bad manners in your country or abroad and post them.
We Armenians, sometime say thank you in French. Instead of saying ‘‘shnorhakalutyun» we say merci, and it’s actually bad, because we forget our Armenian words gradually. In Armenia we are used to pointing out everything, even people. When we see someone in the distance we point out them, it’s not good.
